Choosing SD cards
The D7200 supports the use of two SD cards. With this option you can choose wich card you want your video to be recorded on.
Frame size and frame rate
Depending on the speed of your SD card, you can get high frame rates at high resolutions. A card with a high write speed will be able to record videos at higher frame rates.
The D7200 also gives you the option of changing the quality at which you record your videos.
When you select this option, you will get a live view of the audio going into your camera’s microphone. If you increase the microphone’s sensitivity, it will pick up more sound.
This option controls how the sensor is used for video recording. You can increase or decrease the portion of the sensor that that will be used for recording.
If you go ahead and decrease the portion of the sensor, you will get a list of available frame rates. You can get up to a resolution of 1920 x 1080 at 60 fps (frames per second).
With this option, you can change the white balance in your video, without it affecting the white balance of your photos.
High ISO noise reduction
When shooting in low-light situations, you might need to increase your ISO. This often creates a lot of noise in the image. High ISO noise reduction minimizes the amount of grain and noise in the video.

Note: Do keep in mind that the D7200 has a headphone jack, and a micrphone jack which you can use to connect an external microphone.
When you power up your camera, turn the switch to the video camera icon. This switches your camera from photo mode to video mode.
Afterwards, tap the Live View button to turn the camera screen on. You can use this to monitor your footage.
